I am telnetted into a system and running YAST on that system. Before starting YAST a "export TERM=vt100" command was given. YAST doesn't seem to respond to the Function keys (F10 in particular). Any ideas on how to send these codes? Am running the telnet on another Linux system. Use ssh instead of Telnet. Did you telnet from another Linux box? I use YaST through telnet and ssh both, it's never given me any trouble. Try leaving off the vt100 maybe (I think the standard is ansi, not sure though) At 08:44 PM 8/20/2000 -0400, you wrote:

Suggestion by Jonathan worked... If telnetting from a Linux box then don't to the TERM=vt100. But if from a Windows box then that is necessary to get a decent screen (at least from what I've found). Robert

Try pressing Esc-0 for F10 Esc-1 for F1 and so on. Regards Ole -- Windows: Where do you want to go today? MacOS: Where do you want to be tomorrow?
