With all of the promising comments about 10.3 I thought I'd give it I try. I'm using SuSe 10.0 and the Ktorrent (1.1 I believe) that is packaged with 10.0 I started trying to download 10.3 with Ktorrent on Saturday. It seems to do fine for a while then after about 30 to 90 minutes it just disappears. No client, no process, nothing. When I re-start, it seems to work fine, and it picks up the download where it left off, but then will die again in 30 - 90 minutes. Any thoughts on what could cause this or how to correct it? Try running ktorrent from konsole to get some clues why it's stopping. ktorrent is running fine here on 10.3 On Mon, 2007-10-08 at 16:45 -0500, Regis Matejcik wrote:

do this - go to the command line (don't faint, everyone!) and type ktorrent. When it fails, you should see some sort of error message. Barring that - when it fails, go again to the command line and type tail /var/log/messages It will give you information about what's happening. There may be other KDE-specific items, but I'm not aware of them. jabba:/home/kai # tail /var/log/messages Oct 8 14:56:48 jabba dhclient: DHCPACK from 192.168.0.1 -- kai ponte www.perfectreign.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
