When I start Mozilla, I get the following error message (repeats twice): nsNativeComponentLoader: GetFactory(libsystem-pref.so) Load FAILED with error: /opt/mozilla/lib/components/libsystem-pref.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory And no, libsystem-pref.so doesn't exist. It's not a showstopper, though, as Moz does load. -- Homepage http://scott.exti.net XFce desktop environment http://www.xfce.org Goodies for the XFce desktop http://xfce-goodies.berlios.de

I'm trying not to think about that little issue ;-) Nah, seriously, it's not present in the SuSE packages either, when I have time I'll look into it, but given that it doesn't appear to affect the behaviour of Mozilla, I've more pressing things to do... -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.2) GNOME updates for SuSE: http://www.usr-local-bin.org

Yeah, not a big deal. I normally use Firebird, anyway, so I symlinked its libsystem-pref (Firebird 0.70 from the experimental directory). No more error message, and Mozilla still works. Go figure. -- Homepage http://scott.exti.net XFce desktop environment http://www.xfce.org Goodies for the XFce desktop http://xfce-goodies.berlios.de
