You have Thunar.?
Yes. But I like that with shotwell I can choose the exact size to display of the directory.
Yes kong/dolphin has that capability.
Shotwell instead sorts by the internal date, not the file date.
Once you become familiar with exif & exiftool you'll find that's a complete irrelevance. I have exiftool sort my photos into year-month or year-month-day directories. I can rename them on the fly. With darktabe I can set the algorithm for the name of the jpg, tiff, png ... that is generated from the 'editing". I can convert my edits into macros. Sorry, its going to be the "anything you can (shotwell) can do, I (darktable) can do better" song.
It is better suited to display and organize photos.
Disagree. But then I'm a KDE user of old and konq/dolphin comes naturally to me. See the above song line but with konq/dolph. -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
