[opensuse] OpenSuSE 11.2/KDE 4.3.1 Problwm
In KDE 3.. open apps appeared on the taskbar. In KDE 4.3.1 I see teh same thing when logged on as root, but they are absent when logged on as a user (the vast majority of the time). I can't seem to find a way to correct this problem, Thanks in advance. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Right click the task bar, select task manager settings, set filters at the bottom. Unchecking all three will show your tasks. -- If stupidity got us into this mess, then why can't it get us out? - Will Rogers -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Many thanks for your reply. Here is what happens when I right click the taskbar: When the widgets are locked I have two choices: Set Flexible Size or Unlock Widgets. If I unlock the widgets and then right click the taskbar I can: Add Widgets, Lock Widgets, Panal Settings and Remove this Panel. Selecting Panel Settings gives me the same thing as the previous sentenance, but in a band across the width of my monitor. I don't find task manager settings with filters. Sorry to be so dense about this, but I really don't know what I'm doing. -- Stephen P. In this case, it might be that you have no Task Manager in your panel. Right click Panel, unlock widgets Right click panel again, select Panel Options / Add Widgets Scroll down to near the bottom and select System Tray, then click Add Widget. Don't forget to lock widgets again. -- If stupidity got us into this mess, then why can't it get us out? - Will Rogers -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
