[opensuse] ClamAV and Thunderbird
Hi all, How can I set ClamAV to scan my incoming and outgoing mail? I'm using Thunderbird 2.0 with openSUSE 10.3 and KDE 3.5. I'm not worried about incoming viruses to infect my system (if that's possible) but viruses that can get into my system and sent to my windohs friends through mail. Thanks, FC -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

There is no danger of that unless you send files, and you haven't checked those files. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. FC Easiest way, though not only for Thunderbird, is to setup your Postfix and Amavis and send through it. Amavis can use clamav, and if configured Postfix can easily use Amavis to not only virus scan but spam scan as well.
