Hi, Anybody knows of any good review of 10.3 Alpha 5? Some KDE (KDE4?) screenshots? Regards, Mohammad -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I was trying out Alpha5 just this weekend - it doesn't install over ssh, which was a bit annoying, but acceptable (for an Alpha). However, it also didn't work well with my IDE CDROM drive, so for the testing I needed to do, I went back to 10.2GM. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- http://www.spamchek.com/ - your spam is our business. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Check out the release guide[1]; I also made a few comments about it on my blog[2]. Some screenshots are available at OSDir[3] and the Coding Studio[4]. Visually there aren't many changes, but there are a lot of things going on. I'm not sure when the new artwork[5] is coming in, probably around Beta time I imagine. The only stuff really in from now is the KDE4 games; a few of those screenshots were published some time ago on the dot.[6] [1] http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_News/10.3alpha5-Release [2] http://francis.giannaros.org/blog/2007/06/15/opensuse-103-alpha5-is-out/ [3] http://shots.osdir.com/slideshows/slideshow.php?release=836&slide=4 [4] http://www.thecodingstudio.com/opensource/linux/screenshots/?linux_distribut...
