plymouth-start.service KillMode=none. This is unsafe
Dear opensuse list, since upgrading to opensuse leap 15.3 I do receive the following lines in the log: Jan 18 08:19:26 cx41 systemd[1]: /usr/lib/systemd/system/plymouth-start.service:15: Unit configured to use KillMode=none. This is unsafe, as it disables systemd's process lifecycle management for the service. Please update your service to use a safer KillMode=, such as 'mixed' or 'control-group'. Support for KillMode=none is deprecated and will eventually be removed. Is this something I need to worry about? What's the best way to fix this? Mixed? Control-Group? Thanks & greetings Becki

Thanks & greetings Becki FYI, I reported this 7 month ago and was told it was a non issue.

Err, unless I misunderstood something when I clicked through and read everything, the bug has been fixed upstream and recently released. So IIUC tumbleweed will get a fix fairly soon, but 15.3 is unlikely to.

still it was defined more a feature than an issue. So even if it is not fixed, the impact should not be significant.
