FW: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000003 RIP
I posed this problem to suse-amd64 but have no response. So resend this here to see if it catches anyone's eyes. Any suggestion? By the way, the system concerned is regularly updated with YOU and reported with no further updates available. -----Original Message----- From: Chiu, PCM (Peter) Sent: 02 March 2005 17:54 To: 'suse-amd64@suse.com' Cc: Chiu, PCM (Peter) Subject: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000003 RIP We have hit a NFS problem on our dual Opteron box running Suse 9.2 with 2.6.8-24.11-smp kernel. The system log reveals this kernel fault as attached below. Is there a fix to this? I posed this problem to suse-amd64 but have no response.
You probably haven't waited long enough.
So resend this here to see if it catches anyone's eyes.
Any suggestion?
Yes, run that oops through ksymoops and post the decoded oops together with a detailed description what you call "a NFS problem" to suse-amd64 and I'm quite sure you'll get a reply but probably not before Monday. Philipp
