Hi All, please, how can I convert a QuickTime movie .mov from my Minolta Dimage Z1 to DivX or other format? I use compiled mplayer for viewing, I havn't found any other player. Xine ignores codec (???) and xmovie from http://heroinewarrior.com/index.php3 shows a blue screen only (no video). Thanks. Marek

This is a basic command to convert to DivX4/5: mencoder -oac mp3lame -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vhq -o <output_file.avi> <input_file.mov> Charles -- "Problem solving under linux has never been the circus that it is under AIX." (By Pete Ehlke in comp.unix.aix)
