Question about using Yast-Backup to backup system.
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all: I am feeling a little dense today. I wanted to do a system backup using Yast-Backup. I thought that all I had to do was run Yast-Back up and then select on the files with my favorite cd recording program and that would be it. But after 8 hours of trying and trying to find and documentation I have to say I am stupped. The first try results in an error after about four hours, no files generated. The second attempt got me three files. When I looked at them the first file was about 4 kb and contained a list of files with tar.gz extensions. The other two files were 0 kb in size and had nothing in them. This was not what I was looking for. I had expected to find three or more files of about 700 mb's that then could be burnt to a cd. So can anyone give me a simple How To to get a system back up done? - -- Yours, Ralph.
