With my SuSe9.0 I am using Kmail for my email's. My daughter writes me and my wife daily and sometimes we print these email's out. No problem up to the time that she changed here ISP. The first time we wanted to make a print out the text was concentrated on one page in a colum which is one third of the usual page. I assume that the text has a printer instruction embedded but do not know where. I have deleted the header up to the first word, copied it in a draft email, printed it and the width was still one third. Can somebody tell me how to overcome this miniaturizing? All other email's are still as they should be. I could email a specimen for those who would to like to peek in the hidden contents.

Done that but it would of course be better to find the culprit ;-)

Maybe you are looking in the wrong place for your answers then. If all other mails do fine and all other printouts from your setup prints nicely, then I would look at your daughter's end. It would seem to me that something is being added, changed or otherwise altered from her or her ISP. Try making some alterations in her mail program to see if the problem clears up. Have you tried viewing the source from KMail on your end to see if any oddities exist in her mails? Lee -- --- KMail v1.6.2 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.0 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...

Maybe test a different printer driver when you configure the printer in
Yast?
