Hi Patrick, a search in that site lead to an "official okular version" for opensuse 12.2 plus other unstable versions. On the stable release, it is stated the kde version 4.8.5, but not the okular version. Anyway, I proceeded with the installation of the stable rpm packaged, but in the end I think it simply reinstalled my 0.14 okular. I see no 0.15 okular installed. Can't I install okular 0.15 from yast? On 6 December 2012 05:01, upscope <upscope@nwi.net> wrote:

Please, trim your quotes and do not top-post. http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Mailing_list_netiquette The latest version is see for 12.2 is in the "Update" repo at: http://download.opensuse.org/update/12.2/ I cannot find within the rpm the okular version number so, afaics, your only option is to install that version and check okular's help menu for the version number. My system is on kde 4.9.3 and subject rpm will not install for me to check the version. It may be that 0.15+ is not packaged for < kde 4.8.6* or some higher version. Short of building okular yourself, sometimes want of a particular app or version requires updating your entire system. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Not sure, right now. Probably Okular 0.15.x is only available from KDE 4.9.x repos

On KDE 4.9.4 release Okular version is 0.15.4 Once you have Okular installed you could check "version tab" in YaST to verify if there is more versions available and from which repository.
