[opensuse] Firefox's set as desktop background not working
Hi, When I click on the set as desktop background menu item in Firefox, the desktop background does not change. However it works if I select something from Konqueror and set it as the desktop background. Any ideas why this feature is not working from within Firefox? Because Firefox changes the gconf setting for the background image and KDE is not using gconf for that. There is no support for changing KDE background in Firefox and if there would be there is no real runtime detection which desktop environment is in use. And if you ask why this is not supported. It's basically because KDE developers have no interest in doing it IMHO. (I know there are some people in mozilla community (including myself) who would be willing to help to get that stuff into the mozilla platform but someone from KDE project would have to lead the effort.)
