I have recently upgraded to Leap. The previous bug that I filed was resolved by one of the download packages I assume. Anyway, it worked:-) Now I am curious what to do with all of the 13.2 repositories that existed before the upgrade. The upgrade appeared to make no attempt to change these to Leap 42.1 equivalents. Is there a recommended procedure for this?

Don, you are actually luck if the "update" did not break everything. Substantially, normal update procedure is (if you use the DVD) to take off all the 13.2 repos during install when joining the update repos. If you did an online update, procedure is to change before all the links (url) in the repos into the leap ones, or to register the new leap repos and then to erase the old 13.2 ones. You then run normally zypper ref and then zypper dup (distribution update) and you finish with a working system. If not, chances are good that you finish with a hybrid system (which then is not working). The only reason why this did probably not happen is, that some package versions of Leap are less advanced then the one of 13.2 due to a different package policy (based on compatibility with the SLE12 edition (in order to profit from synergy). I would advice to substitute all previously used repos (including packman, extra and so on) with the Leap version, to eliminate then the 13.2 ones and to run zypper ref and zypper dup. You may be ed that packages will be downgraded. This is normal. Important is that at the end you may hold a working and homogeneous system. --- Alle Postfächer an einem Ort.
