using internet connection of my SuSE Linux from my "wine"-d MS application.
Hi partner, I've installed wine and also Yahoo Messenger which for MSWindows and the result is wonderfull. I can launch my Yahoo Messenger client with wine...and it also trying to connect the Yahoo Messenger Server. According to the message of wine. I can configure my wine to join the internet sock of my MS Windows application (Yahoo Messenger client for windows) and the internet sock of my linux. But I don't know from where and how I configure it. Anybody has tried to do so ? Please share your knowledge to me. I am new. Thank you very much. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! - Official partner of 2002 FIFA World Cup http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com

Wouldn't it be easier to just use the Yahoo Linux client, or another messaging client like EveryBuddy? -- 10:28pm up 1 day, 9:05, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.01, 0.00

Wouldn't it just be easier to use Gaim or Kopete on the Linux side since both those programs presently handle all the chat clients available?
