Hi everibody, i ' d like to use the spell checker with the mail reader, i tied a configuration in .vimrc like this ... set nocompatible nmap <F5> :w ! grep -v '^>' \| ispell -d italian -a<CR> ... it seems work, but i can not change the wrong words, because it flush fast the words and i can not change it... Anyone use a spellchecker with Mutt and Vim? How do you overtake the problem? I use ispell quite successfully with mutt. (I'll use it to check this message before I send it!) I do so in two ways: 1. While editing the message, save it to file (":w") then run ispell (":!ispell %"). Be sure to re-read the file if you corrected any spelling (":e"). 2. Even simpler -- after composing the message, exit vi back to mutt (":wq") then, instead of typing "y" to send the message, type "i" to run ispell. When ispell completes, you can then send the message ("y") or go back into the editor ("e"). -- ____________________________________________________________________ Robert Paulsen paulsen@texas.net
