Hi when this has happened to me , Ive chosen the Installation option, and gone throught the install procedure, going passed keyboard selection etc. and then it asks you whether you want to boot the installed OS or do a fresh install selecting the boot existing os has always worked for me Hope this helps Richard G. -- Registered Linux User: 256848

Use this one -- assuming the linux partition is intact and only the mbr has been overwriten.

Modules disk. Feed it, or boot from the install CD. Then you will need to rebuild the lilo or grub install, taking into account the new OS. This is documented by suse. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
