I know its just a warning, but I'd like to know how to increase the pthread stack size on SuSE 8.2, which I believe is using the Native Posix Threads Library instead of linuxthreads.

I have diablo and Fallout tactics both installed and working with winex3.1 in 8.2. There is an option in the point2play gui that enables pthreading. I find that it makes things run much better by turn this option on. If you installed winex3.1 with out point to play then may I suggest getting rid of winex3.1 (uninstall) and install Point2Play. It has winex3.1 built in and provides a very user friendly gui. If you install winex3.1 and then Point2Play then you'll have to installation of winex3.1 and this confuses the hell out of the rpm data base. As far as the stacks are concerned I'm using a default 8.2 installation and have had no issues or messages such as what you've posted. Unless you did something different then it should work. Also, if you have winex3.1 without Point2Play there is and option like - --use-pthreads or something similar. I think it's in the guide that you can dl for transgamings website if you don't already have it.
