Hi Carlos. Just tried it, and as before it asks if I want to save it or open it. No automatic opening of Acrobat Reader. It does open fine when in the Netscape's browser, and I do click on a .pdf information file if I am searching Google -- Med venlig hilsen - Best regards. Erik Jakobsen - eja@urbakken.dk. Just choose open, browse to the Acrobat program, and tell it to remember this program so you don't need to do this every time. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM. Ok. Where do I tell it to remember this program ?. I entered the path, and it worked. Thanks. -- Med venlig hilsen - Best regards. Erik Jakobsen - eja@urbakken.dk. When I double click on a pdf attach, I see the option to open or save (correct), a box to select "always ask before opening this type of file", and also a button named "chose", where I can select the program to use for opening the file (acroread in my case). But there is also an "advanced" button, where I can make the same, but permanently. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson

Same thing here; I just click open, and that's it. I think I selected somewhere in preferences that I wanted to be asked first before openning any attachements. I don't want the kind of automatism that makes a certain mail client I'm thinking about so dangerous ;-)

I assume in the browser it does it because there is an asociated action or something different. In the email viewer there is a security setting afecting hat behaviour. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson

I want it, but couldn't find the posibility.
