Having recently taken the plunge to give SuSE a try I have run in to one problem that for the life of me I can't seem to figure out. I am trying to connect to the outside world via a M$ proxy server from a LAN. I have set up the proxy info that Netscape requires and am still having no luck at all. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The only way that I could find to get arround that is to enable SOCK5 in Proxy Server. YMMV. Even when you're using a proxy server, you still need DNS and routing set up correctly. Check /etc/resolv.conf to make sure the appropriate nameservers are entered. All use the 'route' command to make sure there is a route to the proxy server present. Of course, it could be a Netscape/MS Proxy Server problem - in what way are you 'having no luck at all'? Error messages?
