Konqueror frequently chokes on flash files. Not all, but it seems that all flash files with sound will hang. nspluginviewer will use 99% of CPU and I have to kill it. Konqueror DOES have the checked the option to send sound through artsd. I was having a heck of a time with flash stuff also a couple months ago, and no one could figure it out. So what I did, was downloaded the flash plugin for Linux (it said it was the same one I already had, but I got it anyway), and installed it. I made sure everything was where it should be, and all of a sudden I could watch and hear flash stuff again. Don't ask me why or what happened, I don't know, all I know is it works now and I haven't had even a hiccup since. It won't hurt anything to try it this way, since you won't be taking anything off your system.
