I believe the default is ~/.spamassassin/ but may differ based on bayes_path in /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf or ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs. Note this "path" includes the partial bayes' file name, e.g. my bayes_path is ~/.spamassassin/bayes with no trailing "/". I am running SA 2.55 on SuSE 9.0. Thank you, Lucky Leavell
