This isn't exactly opensuse specific, but I got no reply on suse-linux-e, so I'm trying here instead: I've never used the SUSE kotd before, so bear with me - I seem to have a problem finding the kernel source RPMs. Am I looking in the right place: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/kernel/kotd/10.0-i386/SL100_BRANCH/ I had expected to find a pile of RPMs with the vanilla kernel source and a stack of patches etc. /Per Jessen, Zürich

Wrong expectation then ;) You normally[1] find there * kernel-$flavour*.rpm The "binary" kernel for that flavour * kernel-source*.rpm The patched kernel sources which you find in /usr/src/linux after installing the package. * kernel*.src.rpm The source rpm from which both above are build. Henne [1] Normally means if it builds and syncs. Looks like thats not the case right now. -- Henne Vogelsang, Core Services "Rules change. The Game remains the same." - Omar (The Wire)

OK, that is pretty much what I was expecting/hoping to find. Great.

Aha. Is this something you can look into, or should I just open a bugreport? /Per Jessen, Zürich

Well this is the CVS version of our kernel. Its expected to not build sometimes. So this isnt really a problem. It will come back :) Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, Core Services "Rules change. The Game remains the same." - Omar (The Wire)
