It is a command :-) Telcontar:~ # whatis fsck fsck (8) - check and repair a Linux filesystem Telcontar:~ # I am assuming the external disk is fat, exfat, or ntfs. When Linux thinks it is corrupted, it mounts them r/o. This can be verified by looking at the log. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.5 x86_64 at Telcontar)

apparently the off-color language discussion (mostly ranting) in opensuse-project has everyone wanting to jump onto the "I want to prosecute wagon" and this comment was not only rediculous, but demonstrated the author's proficiency in administering our chosed operating system. yeah, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet oftc

isn't that language against our CoC? if it cannot exist in irc, chat, is it selective administration to allow it here? it certainly is not necessary or explanatory. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet oftc

Have you look at dmesg? Does it require a fsck on the drive? On April 16, 2024 6:23:16 AM PDT, Carl Spitzer <lynuxrocks@gmail.com> wrote:
