
Cheers ! I just set up the hylafax server ! But I experienced a problem.... I configured faxgetty as instructed...but I still can't receive faxes automatically. Just to announce, the manual way works, "faxanswer ttyS1 " .... can someone help me, maybe I just forgot something... thanks & cheers patric illi

You probably did, but did you restart init? (killall -HUP init / reboot)

mo:35:respawn:/usr/lib/fax/faxgetty /dev/modem is what I have and AFAIR I did this at single level init S and then init 3 and it started with no problem HTH -- Togan Muftuoglu
