Hello, I have some questions about opencl for tumbleweed. What and where is opencl-index?? Where can I get ocl-icd for tumbleweed ? The links I got from searching on the web were broken, I have the source package. It is for Folding@Home. I had to reinstall tumbleweed as the ssd was unreadable (my computer tends to crash to often-looking for the cure). OpenCl is working, version 1.1, but the startup complains- WARNING:FS01:Guessing ambiguous GPU to OpenCL device mapping for 01: gpu:10:0 Ellesmere XT [Radeon RX 470/480/570/580/590]. Consider upgrading your graphics driver or manually setting ''opencl-index'' in this slot's configuration. You don't mention your graphics card. What about using the proprietary amdgpu-pro, e.g. with radeon-rx-470 https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-400-series/radeon-rx-400-seri... I use the openCL part with Darktable and Leap 15.2. I stopped using it with Tumbleweed but too much hassle with Tumbleweed's updates. Peter

You don't mention your graphics card. -------- Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 What about using the proprietary amdgpu-pro, e.g. with radeon-rx-470
I saw that mentioned on a lot of posts....so maybe I will try it...that has opencl 1.2 right?

I think you won't get more than AMDs proprietary driver. Peter
