You don't mention your graphics card. What about using the proprietary amdgpu-pro, e.g. with radeon-rx-470 https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-400-series/radeon-rx-400-seri... I use the openCL part with Darktable and Leap 15.2. I stopped using it with Tumbleweed but too much hassle with Tumbleweed's updates. Peter
