If you want vfat to be case sensitive, you need to use mount options "posix" and "shortname=mixed" in /etc/fstab

You should look at the "Mount options for vfat" section of the mount manual - specifically at the "posix" and "shortname=" options. It looks like your "shortname=" option set to "lower" (which is the default value, I believe). Set it to "mixed" (or "winnt" depending on what is your desired behavior) Regards, Dmitry
