The question is how to limit the search result in the body to certain criteria.
For instance you have this mail. If i would search for the term
"I think body can be quiet usefull"
the search would return your original mail and my quote.
If i limit the search to my From line
"I think body can be quiet usefull" AND "from:hvogel"
it would return only my mail.
Or another example. You want to find mails containing the word "nvidia" but only in mails that were send this month.
"nvidia" AND "date:2006 November"
or even more limited to a specific thread in this month
"nvidia" AND "year:2006 November" AND "subject:driver update"
and so on. The question now is which criteria we introduce.

Ok... I see what you mean. For these filters it could be quiet handy to have something like "keyword" and "period:-7d" to search during the last 7 days for example. Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

If I remember correctly, the old versions did that. Novell corrected that behavior after buying SuSE, whose people convinced them of the necessity to honour the necessary headers for correct threading. More or less. So Dominique needs to update his software ;-) - -- Cheers, Carlos E. With Evolution every time Dominique replies to a thread it gets broken as though he started a new thread. Perhaps instead there is a problem with Evolution? Because you (P.S.) probably are threading on subject.

Exactly.

No, evolution is right. I'm seeing the same with Pine. His messages lack the standard headers "In-Reply-To" and "References" - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
