Hi, I've got a fairly new install of OpenSUSE Tumbleweed but I'm getting stuck when trying to run sudo zypper dup as Packman hasn't caught up with the main repositories. I've had this problem before but normally the Packman repository updates fairly quickly so that it is back in sync with the main repositories. Has there been any news on this issue? Thanks. Simon.

packman was doing maintenance this weekend. Maybe it has not caught up. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.3 x86_64 at Telcontar)

not sure it is an "issue". has someone issued a bug report? difficult for packman to be "up-two-date" with Tumbleweed as Tw is constantly changing and packman does not see the changes until after they are published. I am sure they would be very appreciative if you could help them with this knowledge. you did know that packman is a "contributor" to openSUSE and not a part of the team which provides openSUSE. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet oftc What sort of day was it? Not sure. There had been some mails here recently about changes on packman, regarding pipewire and gstreamer stuff. If it's about those packages, check the mail archive on lists.opensuse.org

It is gstreamer-ugly that is causing the problem. Strangely things were working perfectly up until about a week ago so I figured I just needed to wait until Packman had updated itself based on the latest snapshot but nothing has changed in that time. I also can't find much in the email archives in the past week about this issue. Here is the error message I get: https://gist.github.com/simonconnah/7455ae0c2392f9cc88ebaa26aac128c5 Simon.

Thank you. I didn't know about the Packman mailing list. I've joined it now so I should be able to keep up to date with what is happening with it. Simon.
