Installation fails after first stage
I have a problem installing opensuse 10.0 for a friend. The stage 1 installation ( I mean before the reboot) passes without any problems. But after the reboot, I choose Boot From Hard Disk, the SUSE LINUX 10.0 from Grub and then nothing works, it gives me a shell and says press enter to login . What(s the problem ? Is there anyway to run the second stage of the installation from this shell .

Strange. Is there any error message or something in /var/log/messages? You can continue installation with yast2 installation continue (or yast without "2" for text mode). Thank you, it's fixed now but I don't exactly how, I had to resize a partition. May be a bug in Yast's partitioner.
