SuSE 9 Pro Every night my locatedb (/var/lib/locatedb) is truncated to 63 bytes. When I run updatedb, it is created. How do I find what job is scheduled that truncates it? I tried "crontab -u root -l" and "crontab -u dw -l" and "atq" without mention of anything scheduled ever. What is the correct way of finding the problem?

SuSE 9.1 FTP: /etc/cron.daily/updatedb (/etc/cron.daily/clean_core also comes from the findutils-locate package) I guess it's the same on 9.0 pro. ;) Cheers, Leen
