First, let me give out the solution to my previous Xine problem, so others can reference it if they have the same issue... Xine rpm's can be downloaded from http://rpmfind.speakeasy.net/linux/RPM/ already set for SuSE 9.0 And thanks to another user here, who's email I accidentally deleted, I was able to download rpms for all of the support stuff. (Only the xine-ui didn't work. Which is why I dug up the URL above.) Now I'm dealing with feedback that's jerking around. Every second or so... Highly irritating. I seem to remember a relatively simple fix, but after searching the archives I'll be damned if I can find it. Any suggestions? And on to Jpilot: I had some issues getting my Sony Clie to synch. Turns out that the pilot-link rpm that SuSE distributes doesn't support USB connections. (You need .11.3 or later) And I now have that installed. I was even able to synch up my Clie without a problem. Or so it seemed at first. For some reason it keeps loosing the connection with the computer, while synching. Sometimes it will work okay, sometimes not. Now that I've installed the Boston Bus schedules, it almost always dies before synching complerely -- too much data, so it's running long enough for whatever to cause it to go boom. Any recommendations? I supose it would make sence to try another RPM of the pilot-link program, but I haven't been too successfull at finding one. (And you all know my luck in dealing with make files...) Thanks in advance! Krikket
