OK i could really use some help now. My internet connection is pretty much usless. For a while, i couldn't even ping my isp's gateway (i'm on cable). I seemed to have fixed that but an increasing number of places on the web are completely unreachable. The one thing i really need working right now is icq though. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know it somebody was suggesting it could be the firewall but i really haven't changed anything to it and it worked before. Just incase it helps, heres my firewall script /sbin/depmod -a /sbin/modprobe ip_masq_ftp echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_dynaddr echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_always_defrag /sbin/ipchains -M -S 7200 10 160 /sbin/ipchains -A input -j ACCEPT -i eth0 -s 0/0 67 -d 0/0 68 -p udp #/sbin/ipchains -P forward DENY #just playing with this to see if i can get something to work /sbin/ipchains -A forward -s 192.168.0.0/24 -j MASQ Thanks Jason Unrein
