Sir/Mam, We are regular user from since 2007 .Our College having near about 9000 student out of 700 student for computer science .In our Curriculum we are using suse linux os.We are struggling for getting your current distribution.Our Head of Department suggest use ubuntu but we like your os.Plz send us new distribution so we guide the student. What sorts of problems are you having? When you try to download, do you get a specific error? Where are you trying to download from? Have you tried the Bittorrent links? Those are very resilient and perform checksumming along the way, so you'll be able to be assured that you got a valid download. Just saw this from another comparison website: Contribution: “Ubuntu doesn’t contribute to Linux” If you pick any leading open source project (including the Linux Kernel, Gnome or LibreOffice) you won’t find Canonical among the leading contributor. Well you can read about it here http://www.zdnet.com/blog/open-source/shuttleworth-defends-ubuntus-linux-con... They claim to have 25 kernal hackers on staff.
