I updated to 3.3 today - no apparent problems at first. But now the screensaver does not work at all. When you configure the desktop, the "test" button does nothing. After the set time period (when the screensaver should kick in) the screen just goes black. I can't find any dependency problems, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the kde screensaver package. Clues anyone? Thanks, Mike ------------------------------- Cleary_Mike@emc.com ------------------------------- A wink is as good as a nod to a blind horse.

Time to keep an eye on the KDE mailing list and / or newsgroups, perhaps? http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-kde/2004-Aug/0135.html Note that this post starts a new topic, but was posted as a reply, and hence does not appear at the top level of the thread index. Randall Schulz
