Hi all, As many here have, I too took the 9.0 plunge and am liking it. SuSE puts a lot nice work into making an excellent desktop product. Their work shows in the quality of the product. Ok, enough sucking up, now let's get down to the little bugglets! Mozilla seems to be acting really nutsy. I have went back to search out the other mails and tried the one solution of changing the /etc/modules.conf file, but that doesn't work for me. Mozilla mail just quits anytime I try to read a mail, especially a html mail and the browser just quits when after entering a url. They don't freeze nor do anything else odd, just quit, disappear, go away! Starting from the shell/konsole shows nothing. Epiphany, using Mozilla as a base, does the exact same thing. It just seems Mozilla doesn't want to play nice. I have tried with both the 1.4 & 1.5 versions from SuSE, both doing the same thing, so one would think it is system related rather than Mozilla as both of these worked while in 8.2! Maybe I needed to do something else after changing the /etc/modules.conf file? Restart or something? Nothing else was specified in the help file from SuSE's database though. Any thoughts welcomed, Lee -- --- KMail v1.5.4 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.0 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...

As I remember, it was an IPV6 issue in the firewall, so after making the change in modules.conf, SuSEfirewall2 stop, then SuSEfirewall2 start. HTH. BTW, I don't have 9.0, so the commands may have changed. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM. Thanks Joe, That was the thing I had read also tracking this down. Tried it again today adding your suggestions with the same result. Mozilla just disappears when being used. Mozilla mail does the same thing when trying to read mails. Wonder what Thunderbird would do? Can the Mozilla mail settings & folders, etc be moved over to Tbird? Might have to try that.
