[opensuse] ThinkPad buttons how to?
ref: opensuse 11.2 64b kde 4.3.5 Lenovo X200 Q. what's the best way to enable the TP buttons? I can hibernate and suspend from opensuse but the button do not work. The brightness, the wireless/bluetooth and volume buttons do work. Except for the volume ones that have an screen representation, the other ones do not. So the laptop is working very well but now I would like to enable the special key. I have read many of the pages I got from searches but most are from older models and older kernels and do not apply to my setup. I appreciate any tips. -=terry=- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

These keys worked fine for me---until 11.0.

Yes, on thinkwiki.org you can find many tips, but I do not think that they still work.
I appreciate any tips.
Well, there is a bug report written by an novell employee. But it is 2 years old and nothing has happened, yet: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=370220 Gruß Jan -- Expert advice is a great comfort, even when it's wrong. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thxs Jan, If I find a way to enable them, I'll post it. -=terry=- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
