You might try the O'Reilly book "Practical Unix and Internet Securiy" It does take more of a broad UNIX view, but almost all of it applies.

does anyone know of any good linux security books?
i have currently purchased and read _hacking exposed_: http://www.hackingexposed.com and thought it was good, but it focused a lot on nt, 2000 etc. not as much about linux as i wanted.
