Speaking of xmms, when I call it (under KDE) it shows up as a small box with a black background and a faint foreground -- very difficult to read anything in it. Is there a way to improve its display? Paul

Hi Paul, Right-click somewhere in the middle of the player, highlight "Options" and select "Skins Browser" to view and select a skin you like. regards, Carl

Hi Paul,

That helped -- but what helped also was selecting the "double size" option. Too bad it can't be applied twice to get quadruple. Also, there doesn't seem to be any way to double the size of the playlist window. Paul

What resolution are you running?

1280 x 1024 -- the standard LCD resolution, I think. Paul

That's interesting... I run 1600 x 1200 and xmms in standard size is hard to read but double size is very easy (not to mention too big for my taste... takes up too much desktop space.) Also, I've noticed that when I change my desktop fonts xmms seems to reflect that change. If you're having problems reading it maybe your fonts need to be bigger? Carl
