[opensuse] opensuse sending email as my domain
I was reviewing the weekly DMARC digest for my domain, and over the course of the past week some 600+ messages were sent from openSUSE/SUSE servers as my domain. Can someone from openSUSE/SUSE explain why such email was be originating from your mail servers? opensuse.org * 2001:67c:2178:8::18 = 440 messages * 195.135.221.145 = 159 messages suse.de * 195.135.220.2 = 5 * 195.135.220.15 = 3 -- Later, Darin -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Maybe you refer to list mail? Every mail you send to the lists is resent by opensuse to possibly thousands of destinations, with your domain in the "from" header. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from openSUSE 15.0 (Legolas))

Yep, that's probably all there is to it. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (11.4°C) member, openSUSE Heroes. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
