When I type the following command, I get the error below it. Does anyone have any ideas? mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom mount: block device /dev/cdrom is write-protected, mounting read-only mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom, or too many mounted file systems

If you are using Suse 9.1 or 9.2, it mounts the cdrom devices automatically. You may try first to unmount it, and then to remount. If you want to remove the automount, edit /etc/fstab . Cheers Sunny -- Get Firefox http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=affiliates&id=10745&t=85

What sort of CD is it you're trying to mount? It's not an audio CD, is it? Because you can't mount those, just start a CD playing program and play it
