[opensuse] Program to print a batch of photos?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I wonder if there is a program to print a batch of photos and specify how many per page. Say, print 4 photos per page from this file list. Just fine a CLI to convert to PDF. What I usually do, is insert the photos in a LibreOffice write document. I prepare a table with lines (which serve later as guides for cutting) and each cell I fill with a single photo. But maybe there is something more automatic? - -- Cheers Carlos E. R. You are thinking of "montage"? create a composite image by combining several separate images. The images are tiled on the composite image optionally adorned with a border, frame, image name, and more.

I haven't played with the suite in a while, but I know that it does what you want -- pretty much no matter what you want :-) HTH & HAND :-D -- David T-G See http://justpickone.org/davidtg/email/ See http://justpickone.org/davidtg/tofu.txt -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Turns out that "shotwell", which I use for managing the photos, does it. But does not fill the page because it rotates some, ie, it prints portrait photos vertically. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)
