NOt sure if you tried. yast -i RPMFILENAME.rpm -- http://www.fastmail.fm - Same, same, but different

yast -i RPMFILENAME.rpm
hmmm... IIRC, this is not a good idea, because yast -i is some kind of alias to 'rpm -i --force --nodeps ...'... that means that you'll be able to install the Mono RPMs silently but will end up with broken binary files and/or libs... Martin

The simplest way is to use red carpet, found at www.ximian.com.

Does anyone know if redcarpet for SuSE 9 works on Suse Pro 9.1? Laurent

No clue. But since there is a version for 9.1, why not use it?
I tried to upgrade 8.2 to its latest evolution and they no longer do the older distros. So I am forced to upgrade to upgrade evolution. It seems 9.1 is getting off to a better start than 9.0. CWSIV On Fri, 2004-05-07 at 01:21, Anders Johansson wrote:

I believe the Mono packages officially supplied by Ximian are built against SuSE 9.0/XD2, possibly xd-unstable. -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0) GNOME updates for SuSE: http://www.usr-local-bin.org
