[S.u.S.E. Linux] X servers and Fonts
Comparing Netscape 4.05 display in Win95/NT and SuSE Linux 5.x I notice that Font sizes appear to be smaller (e.g. The main page of www.pricewatch.com is hardly legible under X) even though I change the settings to 14.0 or 16.0 under Fonts in preferences. I am using 1280x1024 (16bpp) for both Win95 and X and the latest X servers for the Diamond Viper 330 and S3 Virge. The results are similar. Is there any way to set Fonts for the general X environment and also are there any more fonts to go with X besides those installed by SuSE? Any help with this is appreciated. I only notice this as a problem in Netscape. I use helvetica (12) for my variable width font and clean schumacher (16) for my fixed width and it displays more comfortably. Arun K. Khan wrote:

Go to: 'Edit , Preferences, Fonts', and select larger font sizes. ----------------------------------------------- Man's mind is his basic tool of survival!
