[S.u.S.E. Linux] PPP Config through YAST
I am using YAST to configure the Network and PPP. In PPP, I fill out all the information about the connectivity, ISP, nameservers.....and on. After I exit YAST, when I look at /etc/ppp and /etc/suseppp, my userid/password is in /etc/suseppp. Assuming this will work, I tried /etc/suseppp/ppp-up, and it did not work. I even tried to use /etc/ppp/ip-up. I have some of my old working Slackware /etc/ppp scripts. If I copy them over, will it disturb the integrity of the configuration file i.e. rc.config. I am new to SuSE. The manual only talks about YAST configuration. Any pointers appreciated. Thank you.
