[opensuse] Too many dictionaries listed for comfort, after Thunderbird update to 31.3.0
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, The photo describes my problem: <http://susepaste.org/20503487> You see that I get a long list of dictionaries on Thunderbird. Previously to the last update to 31.3.0, I only had what I expected: three English variants (US, UK, CA), and one for Spanish. Now I get so many that switching dictionary language is awkward. I don't even know if all those dictionaries are installed. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. Check the directory /usr/share/hunspell to see the list of dictionaries installed on your system. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

A lot. You are right. The Spanish ones, for instance, come all from a single package, "myspell-es-20140911-2.1.noarch", which was installed when I updated LibreOffice from LibreOffice:4.3 repo (the same date as I updated TH). I don't know if the previous myspell dictionary from the OSS repo had that many variants or not, but it is dated 2005, whereas the LO repo version is dated 2014 (a huge difference). Obviously I want the current dictionary, not one dated 2005... I could manually delete the files of the variants I do not want. :-? -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
