CD Player plays the CD at /dev/sr0 (not /dev/cdrom for some reason) but no sound comes out. I can use RealPlayer and listen to sound files on the internet so I know the sound system is working. Any ideas on how to proceed? Thanks, Jerome

"CD Player 2.2.2" is its name. Is there any audio cable from your cdrom device to your sound device? No,this is an internal cdrom
