Just by way of a "heads up" for anyone wanting to run VMWare Workstation 5.5.x on SuSE 10.1, you cannot do a straight install like 9.x and 10.0. You will need the "any-any" patch. However, there are reports coming out of the VMWare forum that, even with the patch, people are having problems with usb devices not working. Dave

I can now confirm that, after testing on four different boxes (clean install and upgrade), usb devices cannot be accessed by the guest OS under VMWare Workstation 5.5.1 Dave

Well, that's it for SuSE 10.1 for me then. I've been getting nervous for the last few days reading about all of the bugs, but this is a show stopper. Call me when 10.2 ships.
